At Shiso Noodle and Sushi, our chef de cuisine Bao (on left) and sushi chef Yonten (on right), has over 15 years of experience each in the art of Japanese cuisine. They have worked in some of the finest restaurants and is dedicated to bringing the authentic flavors of Japan to your plate. You can come to our open kitchen now to see them make your food right in front on you!
Having worked at several acclaimed and wildly popular Japanese restaurants to hone his skills and experience, Alan opened his first restaurant, Nom Nom Ramen in 2012. From there, he helped other restaurant owners and chefs to create successful Japanese restaurants concepts around the city of Philadelphia. Then in 2022, Alan opened Umami Steak and Sushi Bar and in March of 2024 he opened Shiso Noodle and Sushi Bar.
